Adults
A great portion of our spiritual growth comes from being in relationship with other people. There are many opportunities to build relationship with friends as well as with Jesus Christ here at First Pres. We have men’s and women’s Bible studies held on our campus throughout the week. These groups will help you to give and receive love, healing, and ministry. On Sundays at 9:45 a.m. there are several adult Sunday school classes that offer teachings on a variety of challenging scripture-based growth lessons. Each semester we like to spice things up a bit and teach new subjects. These classes are also a great way to develop friendships as you discuss the Word of God. For more information on these groups, call the church offices.

NUFF's
NUFF's stands for None Under Fifty-Five. We meet on the second Thursday of the month in the Parlor at 10:00 a.m. for an entertaining program and deliciously catered lunch. Different activities, picnics and trips are planned throughout the year. This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships with others in the same season of life. NUFF's is active in community participation and proud to serve First Presbyterian Church. If you are interested in joining NUFF's, please contact Jean Edwards at the church for more information. There is always some activity planned and we would love to have you join in on the fun!

Stephen Ministries
Life doesn't always turn out the way we plan. There are twists and turns when you least expect it. That's why we believe in our Stephen Ministry. Stephen ministry is a group of volunteers who are trained to walk beside those who are having trouble navigating through life. Stephen ministries helps you to find the sunshine in your cloudy day.
We are always looking for lay leaders to be part of our Stephen Ministry. If you would like to become part of this ministry team, please contact Paul Frederiksen for more information and the process that is involved. Stephen Ministers go through hours of training to prepare them to help others. It's a tremendously rewarding experience.
If you are in need of a Stephen Minister, please contact Paul Frederiksen at the church, 373-4242. The call will be kept in strict confidence.

Women's Ministry
United by the Holy Spirit, we embrace women of all ages in building a personal relationship with Jesus Christ — being called for such a time as this.
The Women's ministry at First Presbyterian is truly spectacular! We give ladies the opportunity to study God's Word and fellowship with others in a variety of ways. You can do everything from a Beth Moore Bible Study to playing Canasta, eating lunch at Calico County to community service and involvement.

Men's Ministry
First Presbyterian Church of Amarillo has a very active Men's Ministry program, under the guidance of Dr. Murray Gossett.
During the fall, spring and winter, more than 20 small groups of men meet weekly for Bible study. Most groups meet at noon at the church, but other times are available.
Men's lunch Bible studies meet at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If one of those days will work for you, call Murray at the church, 373.4242.
