Many of our Adult Sunday school classes will meet online
via Zoom for study and prayer. Contact your Sunday school

A&O Sundays // 10:00 a.m. Sundays Join us here on Sunday

First Pres Stories with Ms. Debbie //

Ms. Debbie will read a children's story from her library
geared to our Early Childhood friends. You can watch

Breakfast Book Club with Ms. Michal-ann // 
9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays 
Join Ms. Michal-ann for a virtual book club on Tuesday
and Thursday mornings! Grab your Adventures with
Waffles 
book to meet up with your church friends on

Pumpkin for your Thoughts with Mr. Nick // 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays
Mr. Nick will be hosting a Wednesday night program
at our usual Wednesday night time. Find us on our

A&O Live // 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays

Have you been wondering what you can do to be productive and serve others while practicing social distancing? We've got ideas! We'll feature different service projects here with the directions telling how to get them done. Starting this week, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, there will be supplies at the south entrance of the church. Buzz in, grab a bag, complete the service project and return to church by next Sunday, April 5. Our first project and its directions is below:

STRESS BALLS
for Opportunity School and San Jacinto
TEACHER APPRECIATION!

These will be stored for two weeks to make sure any hitchhiking germs die. Then they will be given to the teachers of San Jacinto and Opportunity School and other teachers, if school resumes by May 1. If not we will have a church bless your neighbor week.

Materials: 

  • 1/2 cup of flour, baking soda or cornstarch
  • Funnel or top of water bottle
  • yarn
  • bowl
  • balloons
  • sharpie
  • scissors
  • measuring spoons or spoon

Directions:
1. gather supplies

2. cut water bottle for funnel or grab a funnel
2cut bottle top.MOV

3. attach balloon to funnel and hold balloon and funnel over bowl

4. pour in tablespoon of baking soda, cornstarch or flour

5. as balloon fills use a straw to push baking soda into balloon
5Push down with straw.MOV

6. as balloon get full, “milk” soda into balloon, flatten balloon and make indention to allow more soda/flour more in
6Squish and milk.MOV

7. tie balloon

8. wrap yarn five times around finger
 

9. Cut tie string
 

10. tie with a second short piece of yarn

 

11. cut loops to make hair
 

12. tie “hair” one top of balloon
 

13. use sharpie to draw face
