Luling, LA ~ Missionaries: Persecuted Church in Iran — Pray for God to strengthen the lives of those who follow Christ; pray for the provision of those who leave; thank God for the revival occurring in Iran ~ Digo (Unreached Peoples): Pray for Margaret Ngaira to be able to stay near her ministry area, Kwale county, so she is able to monitor from there rather than from Nairobi. Pray that God, in His time, will open a way for her to move to Kwale.

The Hurricane Harvey Relief Trip - we’ll be going to a less-served community on the Texas Coast over spring break. This trip is open to everyone, middle school-aged and up. We’ll have some fun on the trip, too. Ask Kim or Murray or go online at firstpres.com and sign up.
Women’s Retreat is March 2-4, 2018. "Come Away" to Hidden Falls Ranch where speaker, Mary Forsythe, will help us listen to what God will say. Register now online or in the Great Hall.

NUFFs (None Under Fifty-Five) plan to meet on March 8 in the Parlor. Social time is at 10:15 a.m. and the meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. Programs are informative and enjoyable. Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. and costs $7 per person. If you would like to be a part of this active group of senior adults, please call Cal at 655-3204 by noon on Monday, March 5.
Due to a recent change in ECO polity at our Synod Meeting in January that now states, “Assistant Pastors are members of presbytery with voice and vote, and may, upon election by the congregation, serve on the Session with voice and vote in accordance with the congregation’s own rule,” the Session called a congregational meeting for Sunday, March 4 to recommend to the congregation that our Assistant Pastors be given voice and vote at the Session level.
