In your prayers this week, please remember these members in the alphabetical rotation: Tiffany & Teel Curtis, Diane & Rick Dabney, Connie & Fritz Danner, Caroline & Jeff Darst, Emma, Sloane, Rosie & Bruce Das. ~ ECO Church in the TX Presbytery One Way Church – Austin, TX ~ Missionary – Jo Cole – Amarillo/Belize Works with “The Word at Work”. Pray for the reopening of the King’s Children’s Home before the upcoming school year; that needed repairs, resources, & staffing would come together quickly so children can return to a safe, stable environment. Pray for wisdom & smooth coordination as we lead & host teams in Belize over the next few months. Pray for our partnerships in Belize, especially in Valley of Peace & the surrounding communities, that relationships would continue to grow strong. ~ Digo (unreached people group): Pray for upcoming US visitors; ask God to provide for them, grant them journey mercies to Kenya, and bless their time with us.

Women’s Retreat is coming up quickly! It will be held in Amarillo this year and is sure to be an amazing time with friends learning how to REDISCOVER JOY. Register now at firstpres.com or call Lindsey Palmer at (806)373-4242.
Mark your calendar for our Wednesday Night programs beginning September 2, 2026. Along with our Kids and Student Ministry programs, we will offer adult small groups with dinner on campus from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Check the Welcome Center for our brochure on Groups for Fall 2026. (Food reservations need to be called in or emailed to anitag@firstpres.com by 12pm every Monday, beginning August 31st.)
Men’s Retreat --- Come to the mountains of Glorieta, New Mexico Sept 25-27th. Two great speakers, 30 new friends --the time of your life! Financial assistance is available. Call Murray Gossett for any details you need! You can register online at firstpres.com.
Sunday, Sept 6th there will be one service at 10am. After the service, we will host a “church potluck”. Dexter will provide the meat, you bring whatever you would like to share! It will be your best meal of the week!
Church office will be closed Monday, September 7th in observation of Labor Day.
