Before launching his public ministry Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness fasting and praying (see Matthew 4). Before appointing twelve men to be his apostles he spent an entire night in prayer (see Luke 6). Jesus used spiritual practices like prayer, solitude, silence, meditation on Scripture to connect with our Heavenly Father.  Join us this summer as we look at the spiritual practices of Jesus and seek to discover what it means to live the way of Christ in the expansive grace of God.
