We believe that Jesus Christ alone is Lord, and we are called to share His love with others through both word and deed. Living in the Light of Christ
In Isaiah 9:2 we read, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.” This prophecy was written 700 years before Jesus’ birth during a very dark time in Israel’s history. As God’s one and only son, Jesus is a fulfillment of this prophecy for Jesus says in John 8:12 that, “I am the light of the world.” Jesus came to bring the light of God’s love to a dark and hurting world. As we wrestle with anxiety and uncertainty in our current day, our world can seem very dark and bleak at times.
